STATE DIRECTOR

Kayleigh Begley- Kayleigh is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and is currently residing in Marshall, Minnesota. She graduated Cum Laude from Creighton University in May of 2017, obtaining degrees in both Finance and Marketing. Kayleigh has been involved in many different organizations including Sue’s Stepper-ettes Baton and Dance, where she was a team member, as well as an instructor, for 20 years. Kayleigh is also a 3-time world champion of Team USA in baton and dance. Throughout her years at Creighton, she was a member of the Jay's Dancers, in which she was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated with current NBA basketball star, Doug McDermott. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi-Sorority, as well as served in a leadership role, Morale Executive, and was instrumental in bringing Dance Marathon to Creighton University. Proceeds from Dance Marathon directly benefit Children's Miracle Network in Nebraska. She is the current Director and co-founder of the Iowa Miss Amazing Pageant. Kayleigh is extremely passionate about her involvement with the Miss Amazing organization and loves to share her energy and talents with all of the amazing women. She is truly touched by their grace, beauty, and confidence.

ASSISTANT STATE DIRECTOR

Maddie Lorenzen- Maddie started the Iowa Miss Amazing Pageant with Kayleigh Begley in 2013 and served as the State Director from 2013 until 2017. This year, Kayleigh and Maddie are switching roles as Director and Assistant Director, as Maddie pursues a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Maddie hopes to one-day have a career working with a variety of individuals from all different walks of life. Growing up, Maddie has always had a passion for working with individuals with disabilities. Her oldest brother, Jordan, was born with a profound intellectual disability. The impact he has had on her life, has allowed Maddie to appreciate all individuals and their abilities and strives to help others do the same. Her family has been involved with the Miss Amazing Organization since 2010, and her older sister was the Missouri Director. Her brother, sister, and the participants of Miss Amazing paved the way for her when she became the Iowa State Director. She knows that the pageant is in great hands with Kayleigh and is excited to still be involved in this new capacity! She feels that everyone deserves the chance to feel confident, beautiful, and AMAZING!

ASSISTANT STATE DIRECTOR

Mollie Babich- Mollie is from Sacramento, California and is currently in her last year of nursing school at Creighton University. She is also pursuing a minor in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuropsychology and has a passion for psychiatric mental health. Mollie is currently a mental health nurse tech at Lasting Hope Recovery Center in Omaha, Nebraska. At Creighton University, she competed on the Women’s Rowing team for 4 years, was a captain her senior year and is now helping as an assistant coach. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority and is currently a supervisor at the Kiewit Fitness Center on campus. Mollie has years of experience working with individuals with disabilities as her younger sister has Down Syndrome. She is an advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves and wants to inspire girls to achieve their dreams. This is Mollie’s first year being apart of the Iowa Miss Amazing team and she is excited to be here!

ASSISTANT STATE DIRECTOR 

Morgan is from Omaha, Nebraska and is currently a senior at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln.  She is majoring in nursing and hopes to one day specialize and work in pediatrics.  Morgan is involved in many organizations on UNL’s campus including the Legend’s Peer Mentor program, Alpha Phi sorority, and dance marathon.  She also currently works as a dance team coach for a local middle school dance team in Lincoln.  Morgan has a passion for helping others and working with individuals with disabilities! She absolutely loves being apart of the Iowa Miss Amazing team and has grown so fond of the participants!
