The Iowa Miss Amazing Pageant is made possible by our dedicated and experienced volunteer committee. 



Maddie Lorenzen- Maddie is from Omaha, Nebraska and is currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is majoring in Speech-Language Pathology and hopes to one-day have a career working with a variety of individuals from all different walks of life. Growing up, Maddie has always had a passion for working with individuals with disabilities. Her oldest brother, Jordan, was born with a profound intellectual disability. The impact he has had on her life has allowed Maddie to appreciate all individuals and their abilities and strives to help others do the same. Her family has been involved with the Miss Amazing Organization since 2010, and her older sister was the Missouri Director. Her brother, sister, and the participants of Miss Amazing paved the way for her when she became the Iowa State Director. She is so honored to have brought this incredible organization to Iowa four years ago! She feels that everyone deserves the chance to feel confident, beautiful, and AMAZING! 



Kayleigh Begley- Kayleigh is from Omaha, Nebraska and is currently a senior at Creighton University. She is majoring in Finance and Marketing. Kayleigh is involved in many different organizations including Sue’s Stepper-ettes Baton and Dance, where she is an instructor as well as co-captain of the advanced senior team. Kayleigh is currently a reigning 3-time world champion of Team USA in baton and dance. She is also involved in Alpha Kappa Psi-Business Fraternity, Pi Beta Phi- Sorority, Dance Marathon-Morale Executive, and is the current Assistant Director and co-founder of the Iowa Miss Amazing Pageant along with Maddie. Kayleigh is extremely passionate about her involvement with the Miss Amazing organization and loves to share her energy and talents with all of the amazing women. She is truly touched by their grace, beauty, and confidence. 


Morgan is from Omaha, Nebraska and is currently a senior at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln.  She is majoring in nursing and hopes to one day specialize and work in pediatrics.  Morgan is involved in many organizations on UNL’s campus including the Legend’s Peer Mentor program, Alpha Phi sorority, and dance marathon.  She also currently works as a dance team coach for a local middle school dance team in Lincoln.  Morgan has a passion for helping others and working with individuals with disabilities! She absolutely loves being apart of the Iowa Miss Amazing team and has grown so fond of the participants!
